The inauguration of the ZC Waterfront and Heritage walk redevelopment project and the Scouting Centennial Monument marked the 84th Dia de la Ciudad de Zamboanga celebration at the R.T. Lim Boulevard on Friday morning of February 26, 2021.
As part of the green, green, green project, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) funded a total of P74M for the now refurbished R.T. Lim Boulevard. The unveiling of the “I Love ZC” signage coincided with the installation of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines- Zamboanga City Executive Council led by Vice Mayor Rommel Agan.
Securities and Exchange (SEC) Chairperson Atty. Emil Aquino, DBM ASEC Kim de Leon, DBM Regional Director Mark Louie Martin, Cong. Jawo Jimenez of District I, members of the City Council, department heads, members of the Lim family led by former councilor Rudy Lim, relatives of the Lorillard Spencer Troop members, the security sector represented by City Police Director Col. Rexmel Reyes and Joint Task Force Zamboanga Col. Rojas we’re also present in the event.
