Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with SM Supermalls, through SM City Mindpro last September 13, 2022 at Level 4 of SM City Mindpro. This will boost internship programs, career development, and future job placements of AdZU students in the corporate world.
The undertaking aims to foster collaboration between AdZU and SM City Mindpro. This is also the first academic partnership entered into by SM Supermalls in Western Mindanao.
Among the dignitaries present during the event on behalf of AdZU are President Fr. Karel San Juan SJ, Vice President for Higher Education Fr. Rene Tacastacas SJ, Assistant to the Vice President for Higher Education Dr. Evelyn Chavez, School of Liberal Arts Dean Dr. Robin delos Reyes, School of Management and Accountancy Dean Dexter Velez. Representative of SM Supermalls who joined in the signing of the memorandum of agreement is Mindanao-2 Assistant Vice President for Operations Engr. Jonathan Nick D. Santos.
With the opportunities that come with this newly initiated partnership, AdZU will be able to maximize programs that are intended for providing students with on-site training in cooperation with SM Supermalls.
